Profiles here are sometimes built out of public activity before anyone has asked the person. Unclaimed profiles can be removed without an account. For a claimed profile, sign in with the account that owns it. You do not have to give a reason.

What happens
  1. 01Off the site immediatelyThe page stops resolving as soon as you submit. Every board, the collections, the weekly editions, the badge and share card, and the AI-readable index.
  2. 02Deleted permanently after 30 daysFor 30 days an admin can restore it, which is there for the case where someone removed a profile that was not theirs. After that the row and everything attached to it is deleted for good.
  3. 03The handle is recorded so it is never listed againWe keep the handle and nothing else. The job that seeds new profiles checks that list first, and a submission naming the handle is refused at the door.

Owners can remove their profiles immediately. Contact the site team if you cannot access the owning account.

One thing worth knowing

Some profiles were created from public sources before their owners claimed them. You do not need to claim a profile to ask for its removal. If a listing misidentifies you or your product, include the details so we can review the source.
